Though writing a "mini-biography" is easier when done in the third person, it smacks of equivocation. Therefore, tchus third person, guten tag self-aggrandizement.
I was an art major, now I attempt to maintain some form of creative expression while working as a corporate hampster. Having recently dug through the morass that is contemporary religion to find what is important to me there, I now turn my sights to the sewer that is contemporary politics to find what is important to me politically. So far...I'm no republican...aside from that, socially liberal, because I figure my personal morals are basically my business, but I don't have the right to tell others that they have to live by a "christian" moral code, unless they are claiming to be christians. (that claim that 80% of Americans are christian is complete BS.)Somehow, though, religion, morality, and politics are akin to that huge gordion knot of necklaces in your mothers jewelry box.
I unfortunately decided to wait until I was out of college to really start learning, so now am working at a ferocious pace to become the Mind I want to be.
It is possible to be proud and vain and have self-confidence issues at the same time.
I tend toward elitism. I try to undermine this tendency to debatable effect. I possibly overvalue higher education.
I occasionally write bad poetry, terrible puns, obnoxious jokes, and bawdy limericks.
